I was at Lowry for tech. school in Dec.-Mar. \'68-\'69. Upon arrival i was assigned to a PATS (personnel awaiting tech school)squadron. After what seemed like an eternity I was assigned to a training squadron, where thinds weren\'t much better. All in all, and without going into detail, my time at Lowry AFB was the most MISERABLE time I spent in my entire 4 years in the USAF, and possibly the most miserable time of my entire life. The day I left there was pure elation. Got orders to Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, where I was stationed for 16 months before going to Thailand for a year of loading bombs on F-4\'s, then the remainder of my time at March AFB (SAC) and a few months TDY in Guam when Tricky Dick decided it\'d be a good idea to bomb the hell outa North Vietnam and Hanoi Harbor. Finally got out on Halloween, 1972. End of career..... Jeff Nix, San Diego, CA
