Fifty years ago this week OAFB was busy supporting our military build up in response to the Cuban Missile Crisis.The TAC unit 4504MTW was sending drivers, trucks and equipment to Opa-Locka near Homestead AFB as well as around the clock support personnel to McCoy AFB to assist the large Air Force and Army presence there. Were any of you involved in these endeavors during those 13 days in Oct. 1962? Jim Gooch 4504MTW
