Bitburg AFB 3/54 to 8/57. One of the original members of the 1st PBS..we were trained in Albuquerque, NM at Sandia Base, beside Kirtland AFB where they had the B36 3-pusher engine bombers that shook the ground when taking off. Many memories of Bitburg and the great crew I worked with as a Weapons Fusing Systems Specialist, though I am among the few remaining today, and my wife and I are buying a home in Wasilla, Alaska to move this April.
