Arrived Bitburg 1964 and left in 1966. Launch crew member, Mace B..71st, power mech. Trained at Orlando AFB late 1963. Lived off base as I had my family with me, on my nickel(under 4).Got my E4 promotion day before family arrived in Luxembourg. That helped out for sure. My crew officer was Lt Dave Gross, Crew Chief SGt. Hall, Weapons SGT.King,Missile Tech. Tom Coughlan, Robert Taube, and Jeff Morton. Was a great experience to have been part of something special. I finished out a 4 1/2 years as I had extended to make this tour happen.
