In June 1959 I was transferred from Stateside to, Headquarters, 38th TAC Missile Wing at Hahn AB,Germany. However, in a matter of days after arriving at Hahn AB, the Wing was transferred to Sembach AB. I headed the Ground Equipment Maintenance Branch of the Wing, and later was assinged additional duties with the Missile Maintenace Branch. Some of the Missileers may remember me for the R & R Trips to Copenhagen and Italy. I was a rated pilot and flew the old Goony Bird on quite a large number of those R & R Trips.
