I was a mech 2 on a launch crew at site 4 at kadena and both sites at bitburg. I got to kadena about two weeks before kennedy was shot. I keep in touch with several of my air force buddies and with the help of the internet I have recently located several more, two on your web page. Here are some names as best as I can remember. At kadena the squadrons were the 873rd & 874th. The CO's were Dudley Dilley & Henry Tilley. The site commander was Major Stewart. On my crew were: LO was Captain Sam Wright from Oklahoma, crew chief was William (bill) Henry from Missouri, mech 1 was Red Angleton from Florida, mech 2 was me Max Saylor from Kentucky, mech 3 was Royce Harrelson from Florida, mech 4 was Roy Smullen from Baltimore, mech 5 was Jim Godley from California.
