Gentlemen, I am working on a booklet / book over the Cold War in the Eifel-Region/Germany. Nearby BITBURG were stationed Matador & Mace missiles in the 50-ies & 60-ies.Units: 71st TMS, 385th TMG, 585th TMG and? What I need is: any kind of photos, plans, stories of the Bitburg-Missileers and the B-Pad RITTERSDORF (Matador)later on named the Mace B Site 7. Less information I have is the time from the early 50ies to 1960 (Matador at Bitburg). Nobody knows, where there exactly were stationed in the surrounding of Bitburg (Bedhard). Maybe there is still a map from that time, with markings of the units? Many thanks to you, helping me. Josef P.
