I really enjoyed the site, I didn't know that much about what my Dad did, since I was only born in 1961 in Landstuhl, he was 'Mike' HODGDEN worked as a firefighter, was on the bowling team. I still have his area badge! It has on it 587th TacMissileGru, SuppRon(TM). Could someone tell me what SuppRon(TM) stands for and was the 587th in Grunstadt or where? Believe it or not I still have his silver nametag (metal) with the missile on it.I also have a patch, I didn't see it on the site it has the same design as the 38th TMW, but says 38th Air Base Group Did you guys or who wore this patch? It's too bad my Dad didn't get a silver missile badge, he was with missiles 1st PBS Exp. Missile Group and the 550th, at Eglin AFB in 49 and 50. That's when the missilemen moved to Patrick and he went to Eniwetok with the AEC, then 10years later he is back with the same missiles they were testing.
