While on Blockhouse mid shift duty one dark night, I watched as the USAF AP's took the Taiwanese Shift Honcho for the second line of security around the compound to check on his troops. Whenever he found one sleeping he profoundly beat the @*%&# out of him and then went on to his other checks. I don't think our AP's had to submit to that kind of treatment, but then again they didn't sleep while on duty either. Anybody remember the food poisioning episode? How about the scowls and swearing from the Honey Bucket Drivers as they scooped out the latrine and swore everytime they got toilet paper in the ladle. Ahh those were the days.
