I was part of the early guys to activate the sites as the construction was completed.I was eventually made crew chief and had my hands on nearly every bird (33) in the unit, and visited all four sites many times for pulling the birds for reg. maint., for warhead convoy & inst. and those middle of the night calls for inverter repl. Had a ball on Oki.,worked hard, played hard, and was disapointed on ret.to states to SAC., and 'Hounddog'
