For those who served at Sembach from 1962-1964, Launch Officer Charles C. Cage passed away in June, 2004. Following his tour at Sembach, he returned to flying and was an instructor at Williams AFB, had a tour in Vietnam flying the A-1 Skyraider, and was at Sheppard AFB as an instuctor on the T-38. He retired as a Major after 20+ years.
