Just returned from Germany last week, our 14th trip since 1988, still a great place to visit. Spend most of our time in Baveria & Austria now. -------------------------------------------- George Craig Thursday, 1/2/03, 12:15 AM Went to Germany in 3/54 with what was then the 1st. Pilotless Bomber Sqdn. from Patrick AFB, FL Went to Bitburg then to Landsburg with Det. #3. Then to Schwarzenborn/Knull. Was in Guidance section as a radar repairman. Bet I could still fire that MPS-9 up ! One trip to Libya to fire a few millses, interesting but it sucked ! Had to watch your back with those Arabs down in Garian. Brought a cute little German redhead from Immenstadt (down in the Alps) back to the land of the BIG PX in June 56. We are still happily married & have 4 daughters & 1 son. 10 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grand children. Retired from AT&T in 1988 & have made 10 trips back to the Fatherland sense. There last in Sept of 02 & planning another in May 03. Made 5 trips between 56 & 88. We stay for 3-4 weeks. Love Germany (especially the Alps)& those Autobahns. Drive over 3,000 miles each time we go. Really enjoyed my whole tour in the USAF. Nice link you have. Only 3 years old ? Looked over the members page. Most seem to be 'youngsters' as far as being former 'Missile Men'. :o) Did not see anyone I know. Been messing with computers over 30 years now. Email: george8898@hotmail.com mace or matador,WHERE, WHEN? Matador - Bitburg, Landsburg & Schwarzenborn

Just a quick line to let everyone know that Joe Batten, head of the A&E shop and QC at Sembach 1963- 1965, is gravely ill in an El Paso nursing home and needs everyones good thoughts. I just got back from a quick visit and he is fading fast.

This is a SAD entry, I was notified by Mrs Goudeau that Jimmie passed away on March 24, 2007. I had the privledge of knowing Jimmie Goudeau when assigned to Orlando and Altus AFB in the early sixty's. It was so good to see him again after all of these years at the 2005 Tac Missileer Re-union. Our condolences go to his wife Janice, family and friends. Jimmie was interned at forest lawn cemetary in Meridiam Miss. Roger
