I was in Bitburg from Sept. 1964 to Dec. 1966. We were in electronic working on the guidance system. Lt. Dion Turner was CO. Sgts. Lindbaugh, Robt. E. Lee are some I remember. Left the USAF and got a degree in accounting. Worked for CPA firm but that didn\'t take. Sold steel for 17 years and then became a burger flipper, which is what I was probably cut out for to begin with. Became a McDonald\'s Owner/Operator in 1989 in Minnesota. Ended up with 5 stores in southern MN. and sold them and retired in Feb. 2012. Wife Mary and I have 6 kids and 6 grandkids.

GEMS Instructor \'61-65, Kadena GEMS \'66-68; and Launch Crew Mech 1 trained. Just finished a nostalgic trip at the mace-b.com website and poking around other web locations. Ordered the tacticle missiles book. What memories! From BC Street to Orlando AFB; what a trip! Been a missileers member for a while but unable to make the reunions---maybe soon. Hello to all my comrades from the past.

Lowery, 59 - 67 instructor for GEMS late 61 thru 67. Great site, and see some member names that bring back lots fo memories. Elby Walker, Ken Ross, Norm Trudell, and Ernie Hedburg. I am honored to get to see the Mace B every time I go to the Museum at Wright Pat.

Hahn 63/66 Just been looking thru the Hahn AB FB Page. Missileers are sadly missing. It is all about the fighter wing now.
Guess I was getting nostalgic when I heard that Jim Skeltion from the mace crews had died. He was good people.
Guess we are getting old.

Hahn AB 54-56, Rhein Main AB 56 to 58. Served as a Radio maintenance Chief at Hahn, maintaining radio contact with several of our outlying units. Moved to Rhein Main as Chief Radio Maintenance for Det 1, 69th Pilotless Bomber Squadron. Some of my friends that I remember names of were George Gehres, and a short fellow whose last name was Bernzweig (not sure of the spelling) who lived in New York city after his discharge. Been searching for anyone I knew back then, but having really bad luck finding them. They would be like me, someshere in their upper 70\'s or early 80\'s, if they are still alive.
