Subject: Info about my dad  (Eugene P. Reed)

Hi, dad passed in 2012. I am trying to find info about his military service. As a young child I remember his uniform with a missile badge. I believe he was in Korea with the Matador. Do you have specific info about specific people?

His name was Eugene P Reed. If he is mentioned in the book (U.S. Air Force Tactical Missiles – 1949-1969 – The Pioneers) it would be very much appreciated by his military family. I would love to have info about him. He didn’t talk air force at home.
Eugene P Reed deceased retired Air Force 1972.

This is bare bones of what I believe he was involved in:

  • England and Oslo, Norway early 1950’s
  • Korea late 1950’s
  • Vietnam 1963
  • Thule Greenland 1967
  • Angels Peak late 1960’s

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
He has a son in law in Navy Seabees and 2 great grandsons he did not know about. One is named after him. I want to fill in some blanks about him.

Thank you,
Donna Reed Hollingsworth, his daughter
