Went to Germany in 3/54 with what was then the 1st. Pilotless Bomber Sqdn. from Patrick AFB, FL Went to Bitburg then to Landsburg with Det. #3. Then to Schwarzenborn/Knull. Was in Guidance section as a radar repairman. Bet I could still fire that MPS-9 up ! One trip to Libya, interesting but it sucked ! Had to watch your back with those Arabs down in Garian. Brought a cute little German redhead from Immenstadt (down in the Alps) back to the land of the BIG PX in June 56. We are still happily married & have 4 daughters & 1 son. 10 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grand children. Retired from AT&T in 1988 & have made 10 trips back to the Fatherland sense. There last in Sept of 02 & planning another in May 03. Made 5 trips between 56 & 88. We stay for 3-4 weeks. Love Germany (especially the Alps)& those Autobahns. Drive over 3,000 miles each time we go. Really enjoyed my whole tour in the USAF. Nice link you have. Only 3 years old ? Looked over the members page. Most seem to be 'youngsters' as far as being former 'Missile Men'. :o) Did not see anyone I know. Been messing with computers over 30 years now.
You don't have my location or my wife, Emily's, name on the roster for perspective attendees to the next gathering in Denver

Ive noticed a lot of recalling of the Mace/Matador experiences at places such as Denver, Orlando, Hahn, Asia, etc. But not one word from any of you of the great experiences that several of us had at the Martin- Marietta Missile Factory School for the Mace-B in Baltimore, Maryland. I remember a few of the guys I was there with: Charles Black, Bob Tennyson, Charlie Justice, John Griffin. Several of the guys from Lowrey, one of whom was my roommate. Many of the married guys who were there had eventually divorced and married each others wives. That was quite a Marriage Merry Go-Round up there. I would like to correspondence with anyone who remembers me.
Please add mee to the list and send me info to the Denver reunion. Michael P. Brashear P.O.Box 3021 Arnold, CA 95223 209-795-6447
See Ya'll at the reunion. I still need that good picture of a MACE. Can anyone help??
Just updating email and enjoying the move to Fla.
I think tac missiles were the most fun.I participated in operations of seven different systems. Incl. Matador,Quail,Hounddog A&B, MinutemanII& upgrade, Mace B. Two shoots in one day @ Canaveral inc.night shot by partner team. We're on the end of the runway @ Orlando, and I overhear the copilot say 'Do we have a green light?' Then, 'Are we on the right runway & which way is New York? 'But we returned to Bitburg OK. Fun. One day at Kadena a bunch of inspectors from Hickam showed up and I knew some of them from SAC. They were there to SACumCize us. Someone complained that SAC wouldn't work with TAC, so they discreetly disappeared.
Just wanted to invite everyone to the Denver reunion next June. Its going to be a fantastic reunion. You guys that are signing in that are not currently a member of this great organization, send me an e-mail and I'll get you on the roster so you will receive our quarterly newsletter. Its all about our members and their past memories. (The one's that they feel safe in telling) Of course there is much more to the newsletter, but this is a big part of it, and it makes for some interesting reading. Walter Fenley, thanks for calling me and telling me to get you on the attendees list to Denver. Enjoyed your company at Orlando. See you in Denver.
