August 12, 2022 – Based on responses to the surveys, we have chosen Rio Cibolo Ranch. See this link –> 2023 Reunion – Status Update
Based on the “Farewell Reunion” Banquet Survey results, Rio Cibolo Ranch (1) and Pat O’Brien’s (2) were the most popular choices.
After some additional investigation, we’ve determined per person costs would be:
- Rio Cibolo Ranch – $100 per person (includes coach transportation to / from hotel, food, band & entertainment)
- Pat O’Brien’s – $65 to $70 per person (includes food & band – a 10 minute / 0.5 mile walk from hotel)
While Rio Cibolo Ranch was the first survey choice, there is concern that some members may be unwilling to spend $100 per person.
To help you make your decision, the tentative reunion schedule is as follows:
Tuesday – 5/16
- Registration / welcome
- Renew old friendships & make new ones
- 5:30 to 7:30pm – evening Embassy Suites reception
Wednesday – 5/17
- Continue renewing old friendships & making new ones
- Do some San Antonio sight seeing
- 4:00 to 5:00pm – business meeting at the hotel
- 5:30 to 7:30pm – evening Embassy Suites reception
Thursday – 5/18
- Continue renewing old friendships & making new ones
- Do some San Antonio sight seeing
- 5:30 to ?pm – reunion banquet (location TBD)
So… which venue do we choose for the “banquet”? Please let us know ASAP as we have to reserve the vendor now to ensure their availability.
Thanks for your help!

MIKE ALEXANDER | 08-17-2022 | Rio Cibolo Ranch | Would prefer O'Briens, but I am not able to ewalk that far. By the time I would pay for a cab, both ways, it would be more than Rio's. So I would prefer to not have to hobble and crawl down a sidewalk. Mike |
