Hi I was at the training site at 'A' flt and helped build the training site and the later updates, Had a great time there and met the greatest bunch of people! I am still in touch with a bunch of Ham's that were there at the same time I was and we still talk to each other at least once a week on the radio,we have been doing this since 1965 when I returned to the states. We also have been seeing each other at all the great reunions since Las Vegas and it has given us a chance to meet some of the others that were there that we didn't know at that time ( What a great Experience). I hope to be at the next reunion also and meet with old and new friends hope to see you there........ 73's Johnny (G.P.Johnson)

Had a great time in Denver and was really glad to see so many old troops there. Congratulations to Joe, Max and Bob for their efforts and also to all the others who planned and conducted a really outstanding get-together. The food was outstanding and the October Fest was the hit of the program. Incidentally, I just ordered a six-pack of Bischoff Bier!
It was a great reunion. Many thanks to all who organized it. It was great to have such a large turnout from the 887th. Looking forward to the next one but didn't hear where it was going to be.
Attended the Reunion and met a lot of MISSILEERS. Missed a lot that didn't attend. The Missileers Officers put on a GOOD show and I commend for an outstanding 'Job Well Done'. Would like to see more of you Missileers at the next one.
Just attended the Denver Reunion. Enjoyed it all very, very much.
I was in FTD at Sembach on two tours from 1959 to 1966. I was transfered into the 38th for a short time before I rotated to the States.
I really enjoyed the site, I didn't know that much about what my Dad did, since I was only born in 1961 in Landstuhl, he was 'Mike' HODGDEN worked as a firefighter, was on the bowling team. I still have his area badge! It has on it 587th TacMissileGru, SuppRon(TM). Could someone tell me what SuppRon(TM) stands for? Also, since it has 587th Group, was there a 587th Squadron? Believe it or not I still have his silver nametag (metal)with the missile on it.I also have a patch, I didn't see it on the site it has the same design as the 38th TMW, but says 38th Air Base Group Did you guys or who wore this patch. It's too bad my Dad didn't get a silver missile badge, he was with missiles 1st Exp. Missile Group at Eglin AFB in 49 and 50. That's when the missilemen moved to Patrick and he went to Eniwetok with the AEC, then 10years later he is back with the same missiles they were testing. Thanks again, If anyone knew him or can answer the questions please E-mail me.
Mech I, Site 3 (I think) Just found the site and the group. Currently live in Seattle. Have fun at the reunion and maybe next time I'll be there! M
Leaving for Denver tomorrow, will be donating a real neat print of the Matador's first flight. Will also have a MM1/launcher/Mace model with me + pics including Orlando just a few weeks before they started demolishing it, (IT'S ALL GONE NOW) Frank Roales
